Michter's American

Michter's makes one of my favorite bourbons in this price range. For this bottle, they take that same bourbon and age it in used barrels, which previously held bourbon, thus the reason this is labeled as an "American Whiskey" rather than a straight bourbon! This aging process adds a nice complexity, with a little bit of fruitiness and an extra touch of black pepper. As with everything I've had from Michter's, I'm a huge fan.
